We feed our boarding dogs a mixture of dry/canned Hill's Sensitive Stomach and canned I/D. We feed our boarding cats a mixture of dry/canned Hill's Science Diet Maintenance. Both diets are designed to reduce intestinal upset. If providing your pet's own food, please try to bring only the amount they will need for their stay. We recommend placing your pet's individual meals into plastic baggies! Please indicate any special feeding instructions above.
For pets who are diabetic and on insulin, the Diabetic Boarding Instruction Form must be completed when you drop off. Please check below if this applies to your pet.
As a veterinary facility, we are happy to administer your pet's medications while boarding. Medications can be administered by our trained staff for an additional fee. Please provide DETAILED medication instructions with the following information: drug name, amount, and frequency.
Briarcliff is pleased to offer Cuddle Time for our furry friends. For dogs, this includes approximately ten minutes of brushing, play time, sitting together one on one, plus a special treat! For cats, Cuddle Time includes some exercise time in our cat area, brushing, sitting together one on one, treats, and sometimes catnip! There is an extra charge for Cuddle Time.
You are welcome to leave a toy or treats for your pet, but we recommend keeping the number of toys to a minimum (no rawhide, please). Bedding of any kind is discouraged, as we have fresh towels laundered throughout the day to pad each cage. Please list all personal belongings in the form. **Briarcliff Animal Clinic cannot be held responsible for the loss of any brought items, or for injury to your pet caused by chewing/ingestion of brought personal belongings. Personal belongings left behind will be discarded after 3 weeks.
