The recent earthquakes and tsunami in Japan have caused so much devastation. Many people lost their lives, and all of their possessions. There is another tragedy, however, that is not generating as much attention: the loss of the animals. We work hard to care for animals in need and appreciate your help and assistance in this endeavor.
It is surprising, the number of animals who suffer abuse, starvation, neglect and general maladies from life in the wild or on the streets. The numbers are staggering at times, and we are working to alleviate some of the pain and suffering that occurs on a daily basis in the Southeastern USA, and in particular in Atlanta, where we, and most of our patients live.
We are an IRS designated 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, so your donations can be written off. We welcome them all, from $5.00 to $5,000, as all funding will be put to good use. We are experiencing a minor crisis financially in 2008, because of an influx of abuse and neglect animals from Fulton County Animal Services, and the apparent closing of an apartment complex that left many animals with gunshot wounds, scaldings, and abandoned. We are well beyond comfortable capacity to care for them at the moment, and need your help.
Please, if you can, donate and participate in the care of our four legged people, as how we care for them, reflects who we truly are as humans.
