Briarcliff's Wellness Plan

Where Care, Convenience and Cost Converge
The foundation for the best chance of a long and healthy life for your pet is a routine examination by a veterinarian. Considering that your pet ages 5-7 years for every human year, an exam every 6 months is the equivalent of you going to the doctor only every 3 years – and with the accelerated effects of on pets, a lot can happen between visits!
Early detection of health issues saves unnecessary pain and expense. The leading veterinary associations all have now endorsed the idea that a twice-a-year exam schedule is the best way to medically care for your pet.
Here at Briarcliff we have adopted this “Twice a Year for Life” wellness concept wholeheartedly – from our medicine and procedures all the way to our billing. We offer a comprehensive care plan for the different stages of your pet’s life:

Convenient and Cost-Effective
Briarcliff's Wellness Program offers convenient, consistent monthly billing. That enables you to better budget your pet care expenses through the year, but it also puts you on a plan to best promote the health of your pet. A number of studies show that pets under a regular, routine, pre-scheduled health plan enjoy better health through their life. Moreover, the pet owners save money with better preventative care. One reason is that by detecting health issues early, the cost of our care over the lifetime of your pet is lower.
For example, hyperthyroidism in cats is fairly common as they age. It is simple to detect and treat, provided a veterinarian can examine the cat on a regular basis. Untreated, hyperthyroidism can cause cardiac problems and strokes with cats that will both decrease the lifespan and quality of your cat’s life, but these more serious issues lead to much more expensive veterinary care over time.
Wellness Plan Details - Services and Fees
The medical services differ somewhat for dogs and cats, but both plans include a twice-yearly full examination, routine shots and immunizations, and regular bloodwork. The monthly charge for both dogs and cats is $55.
